Board of Aldermen Meets Wednesday

Meeting location changed to accommodate larger crowd.

The Wentzville Board of Aldermen is slated to meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Pearce Hall, 317 W. Pearce Blvd.

The meeting has been moved out of to accommodate the expected large crowd. At the city's last meeting, the crowd filled the council chamber and spilled out into the lobby of city hall.

The crowd is expected for the several new zoning regulations up for third and final reading before the board. The regulations, which have been crafted over several months with input from citizens and the Home Builders Association (HBA), have drawn a strong reaction from builders, electricians and neighborhood residents.

John Duke, the applicant on behalf of property owner Robert Meyer, is requesting approval of an Amended Final Development Plan for Liquor by the Drink, Indoor Gaming and Live Entertainment for Duke's.

The site is located on the southwest corner of Veteran's Memorial Parkway and Corporate Parkway, with an Address of 1799 Mall Parkway.

OPEN FORUM

The open forum offers residents an opportunity to address the board with their questions and concerns.
