CANDIDATE QUESTIONS:
1.  What is the primary reason you are running for office?

I have been attending the Board of Aldermen meetings on a regular basis for approximately three years. My entire career has been in the public sector, having served over 32 years with the Department of Defense. I will bring a fresh voice, new leadership, and a common-sense approach in dealing with city issues.

2.  What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?

I will put the residents first. I will choose the residents over the special interest groups/persons; I will choose the residents over the well connected few; and I will choose the residents even when it's not the popular thing to do.

3.  What sets you apart from the other candidates?

I am passionate about our city and will bring strong leadership skills as I am able to deal effectively with individuals and groups of diverse backgrounds, especially in controversial situations.

4.  How long have you lived in Wentzville?

10 years

5.  What's your favorite thing about Wentzville?

The people!!!

6.  What is the biggest problem in Wentzville?

Not listening to the people and not spending taxpayers money wisely.

7.  What is your vision for Wentzville?

Will take a proactive approach in bringing viable new businesses to the area, along with keeping the GM Plant open in order to help the local economy. Redevelop downtown and surrounding areas---I want to have a vibrant city where we can attract many people to visit the area.  In am in favor of responsible development in order to insure that residents have good, quality homes.  I will ensure that streets are properly constructed.  We need to work smarter---not harder. Need to review and improve our work processes to ascertain how these can be accomplished faster and less expensively, etc., but not lessen the quality of our services.
