Each week, we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week. You're time-pressed enough, so we're happy to do the research and find the best things to do and places to go, both locally and within reasonable striking distance.

FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK

Monster Jam at the Edward Jones Dome

Why Go: Monster trucks are cool, and this event features trucks with names like Grave Digger and Maximum Destruction.

Why Go: Your preschooler will love this introduction to art through stories, instruction and activites, designed for children ages 3-5.
