Police Blotter: Lake Saint Louis Police Respond to Numerous Reports of Credit Card Fraud

The following information was supplied by the Lake Saint Louis Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Failure to Appear

  • A Lake Saint Louis Police Officer stopped to check on a stranded motorist who was stopped on the shoulder of Veterans Memorial Pkwy near Gascony Drive. A check of the occupants revealed that an 18-year-old female had multiple outstanding arrest warrants out of the Lake St. Louis Municipal Court, O'Fallon Municipal Court, and St. Charles County Department of Corrections. She was taken into custody and arrested for the active warrants without incident.

Stealing

  • On March 30 a Lake Saint Louis Officers responded to the Police Department Lobby in reference to a front license plate being stolen off of a vehicle.

  • On March 30 police responded to the Police Department lobby to speak with two subjects in regard to fraudulent/unauthorized activity on their credit cards.
  • A Lake Saint Louis Police Officer on March 30 responded to Seahawk Drive for a report of unauthorized charges to two of his credit cards.
  • A Lake Saint Louis Police Officer responded to a residence on Green Tree Meadows to speak with a resident wanting to report fraudulent activity on her credit card.
  • Lake Saint Louis Officers responded to Belfort Court in reference to fraudulent/ unauthorized activity on a credit card.
  • A Lake Saint Louis Police Officer was dispatched to the lobby area of the Police Department in reference to a report of fraudulent use of a credit card.
  • A Lake Saint Louis Police Officer was dispatched to Wingspan Ct. in reference to a report of fraudulent use of a credit card.
