Run for the Wall Donates 'Honor and Remember' Flag to Wentzville
Wentzville is the only city with the honor of being a stop on the Run for the Wall for all of the Run's 25-year history.

Run for the Wall, which makes Wentzville a stop on its annual trek from Southern California to Washington, D.C. has gifted the city with an "Honor and Remember" flag.
Wentzville Police Chief Lisa Harrison explained to the board that the "Honor and Remember" flag honors fallen military, where the POW/MIA flag honors servicemen and woman who were or are prisoners of war and missing in action.
The "Honor and Remember" flag is always hung below the American flag and the POW/MIA flag so that it is closest to half-staff.

To create, establish and promote a nationally recognized flag that would fly continuously as a visible reminder to all Americans of the lives lost in defense of our national freedoms. All Military lives lost not only in action but also in service, from our nation’s inception.
Mayor Nick Guccione presented the flag to the Board of Aldermen, who decided that it should hang at the Law Enforcement Center (police department).
