Some Residents to Face Brief Water Supply Shut Down Today
City urges residents to draw water supply in advance.

A routine water system repair will leave some residents without water supply from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today, city officials say.
The repair will disrupt the main water suplly for residents on Providence Woods Circle, a small street located near Peine Park on the city's northwest edge.
Service will be restored as quickly as possible, a city release said.

"We suggest that you draw a supply of water in advanct," the release said.
The city also cautioned residents against sediments in the water following the service disruption. Such sediments are not too uncommon during these types of affairs and temporary water discoloration may be evident.

If you experience this condition, the city suggests running one cold water faucet for 10 to 15 minutes. If the water does not clear after that, the city says to call its Customer Service Department at 636-327-5102.
