Trial Set for Wentzville Barber Shop Shooter
Lester Davis, 57, was charged with three felony counts in the Dec. 18, 2012 shooting.

A September 24, 2013 trial date has been set for Lester Davis, the Wentzville man accused of shooting a gun in a local barber shop.
Davis was arrested for a shooting at All Cuts barber shop on Dec. 18, 2012. He was charged with three felony counts of first degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Witnesses told police that the shooting followed a discussion about the Newtown, CT, killings at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
Davis has a felony conviction in New Jersey and a history of altercations with neighbors that have resulted in the issuance of an order of protection against him.
