Wentzville Police Asking for Help Indentifying Walgreen's Robbery Suspect

  • Wentzville Police are looking for a man who is thought to have stolen prescription medicine from a Wentzville Walgreen's store, KMOV reports. On March 30, the man was caught behind the counter of the pharmacy of a Walgreen's in Washington, MO.

Man Stuffed Trash Can Full of Items From Target Before Leaving Store

  • A Wright City man was charged with theft after police said he snuck items out in a trash can. William Held, 39, of the first block of Appaloosa Way in Wright City, was charged March 26 with felony theft. Wentzville Police said security tapes show Held filled a trash can inside a box with items from Target in Wentzville, 1883 Wentzville Parkway. He then paid only for the trashcan and left the store.

  • In both the Board of Aldermen and Municipal Judge races, incumbents won the right to keep their seats.

Sidebottom Unseats Potter as Lake Saint Louis Mayor by Twelve Votes

  • Ralph Sidebottom became Mayor of Lake Saint Louis by a mere 12 votes in Tuesday's election. Sidebottom's 1,012 votes, or 50.25 percent, allowed him to slide past Potter's 1,000 votes, or 49.65 percent. Earlier counts had shown Potter in the lead.

Mainieri Wins Heated Race for Wentzville Fire Board

  • With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Robert Mainieri, Jr. has won the race for a seat on the Board of Directors of the Wentzville Fire Protection District. Mainieri took the race with 2625 votes, 55.64 percent of the total. James J. Peanick, Jr. had 2084 votes, 44.17 percent of the total.
