Wentzville Police Blotter: Barber Shop Shooting

Following is a list of reports taken by officers of the Wentzville Police Department from Sun., Dec. 16 to Tues., Dec. 18.

December 16

• A disturbance was reported at Olde Towne Pub on South Linn at 1:33 a.m. The incident was a confrontation between unknown subjects.
• Police were called to a sick case in the 200 block of New Richmond Drive at 1:27 a.m.
• An animal at large was reported in the 200 block of Meadowbrook Heights at 3:53 p.m.
• An animal at large was reported in the 1100 block of Silo Bend Drive at 7:02 p.m.

December 17

• Fraud was reported at Walmart at 11:52 a.m. Counterfeit bills were received.
• An auto accident was reported in the 1600 block of West Pearce Boulevard at 1:05 p.m.
• An animal at large was reported in the 300 block of Highland Meadows Court at 1:49 p.m.
• Trespassing was reported at Schnuck's at 3:11 p.m. The subject had previously been banned from the store.
• An offense against family was reported in the 1000 block of Chesterfield Drive at 5:55 p.m. Abuse of a child was suspected.
• An auto accident was reported in the 1900 block of Wentzville Parkway at 6:09 p.m.
• An animal at large was reported in the 4000 block of Glengarry Drive at 6:12 p.m.
• An assault was reported in the 100 block of Tuscany Lane at 6:30 p.m. Child abuse was suspected.
• William H. Despard, 58, was arrested at the Economy Inn at 8:32 p.m. for failure to appear.

December 18

• A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 200 block of Charging Bear Drive at 1:56 a.m.
• An auto accident was reported at 8:39 a.m. in the 1000 block of Goss Court.
• Stealing was reported at Target at 9:38 a.m. The incident involved a lost credit card.
• An assault was reported at All Cuts Barber Shop on West Pearce Boulevard. Lester Davis, 57, was arrested on several felony charges.

• An auto accident was reported on Campus Drive at 2:23 p.m.
• An auto accident was reported in the 600 block of West Pearce Boulevard.
• Domestic violence was reported in the 400 block of Picket Fence Drive at 4:17 p.m.
• An auto accident was reported on I-70 westbound at South Church Street at 5:16 p.m.
• Domestic violence was reported in the 500 block of Great Oaks Meadow Drive at 5:26 p.m.
• Stealing was reported at Walmart at 6:42 p.m. An unknown subject was pasing counterfeit money.
• An auto accident was reported in the 700 block of Wacky Road at 7:13 p.m.
• A peace disturbance involving barking dogs was reported in the 300 block of Kent Drive at 7:33 p.m. 
• An assault was reported in the 5000 block of Joshua Drive at 9:28 p.m. The incident involved a confrontation between co-workers.
• Stealing gas was reported at a gas station on Hwy. Z at 10:03 p.m.
