Wentzville Police Blotter: Employee Theft

Following is a list of reports taken by officers of the Wentzville Police Department on Friday, Oct. 26 and Saturday, Oct. 27.

October 26

• An open door was reported in the 100 block of East Allen Street at 2:13 a.m.
• Stealing was reported in the 2400 block of East Pitman Avenue at 8:32 a.m. Cash and a bill validator were stolen.
• Stealing was reported in the 900 block of Main Plaza Drive at 8:52 a.m.
• A derelict vehicle in the 1000 block of Morgan Meadow Drive was given a 15-day notice at 10:59 a.m.
• A report was taken on a derelict vehicle in the 300 block of Hampton Ridge Drive at 11:01 a.m.
• An animal at large was reported at 3:10 p.m. on Corporate Parkway at Prospect Road.
• An assault was reported in the 700 block of Kent Drive at 3:16 p.m. No prosecution was made.
• An auto accident was reported in the 1900 block of Wentzville Parkway at 3:33 p.m.
• An auto accident was reported at 5:12 p.m. on Wentzville Parkway at West Pearce Boulevard.
• A peace disturbance was reported in the 100 block of South Linn Avenue at 8:02 p.m. A report was made of loud music coming from the bar.
• Domestic violence was reported in the 500 block of Hickory Post Drive at 8:06 p.m.

October 27

• Stealing was reported in the 400 block of Mar Le Drive at 12:08 a.m. A purse was stolen.
• A DWI was reported on Mexico Road at Brookshire Creek Drive at 1:53 a.m.
• A disturbance/fight was reported in the 200 block of Schmittgens Drive at 3:35 a.m. A mailbox valued at under $750 was damaged.
• Domestic violence was reported on Wessex Court at 5:28 a.m.
• Stealing was reported in the 1300 block of Granville Drive at 10:05 a.m. An employee stole equipment. The case is under investigation.
• A report was made on a derelict vehicle on Enterprise Drive at East Route A at 10:21 a.m.
• Stealing was reported on Whisper Creek Drive at 10:28 a.m. Political signs were taken from a yard.
• A DFS report was taken on Landon Way Court at 11:27 am.
• An animal at large was reported in the 500 block of South Linn Avenue at 5:13 p.m.
• Property damage was reported in the 1500 block of Hibernation Hollow at 5:15 p.m.
• Domestic violence was reported at 6:32 p.m. at the Budget Inn.
• Harassment by telephone or mail was reported in the 7200 block of Peine Lakes Drive.
• Domestic violence was reported in the 100 block of Saint Charles Street at 10:42 p.m.
