Wentzville Police Blotter: Three Incidents of Guns Stolen From Vehicles

Following is a list of reports taken by officers of the Wentzville Police Department from Sunday, Sept. 16 to Tues., Sept. 18.

September 16

• Stealing was reported at 12:55 a.m. in the 100 block of Peine Hollow Place. A gun and a knife were stolen from an automobile.
• Stealing was reported in the 3500 block of Big Bear Court at 10:54 a.m. A gun was stolen from a vehicle.
• Domestic violence was reported at 12:09 p.m. in the 1200 block of Meadow Ridge Drive.
• At 4:31 p.m., Wilson Winkle, 34, was arrested for driving while suspended/revoked in the 1500 block of Hwy. Z.
• Domestic violence was reported in the 1900 block of Bonnie Brook Lane at 5:49 p.m.
• Stealing was reported in the 300 block of Cheryl Ann Drive at 5:56 p.m. A gun was stolen from a vehicle.
• Stealing was reported at Schnuck's at 9:44 p.m. Cierra Crudup, 22, and Doriss Crudup, 46, were arrested for stealing alcohol.
• Domestic violence was reported at 11:52 p.m. in the 1000 block of Chesterfield Drive.

September 17

• An auto accident was reported at 7:54 a.m. on I-70 west at mile marker 208.
• A fugitive was apprehended at 10:20 a.m. on Hwy. 61 south at Timber Trace Drive. Joshua Smith, 31, was arrested for speeding and fugitive charges.
• Domestic violence was reported at 12:11 p.m. at the Budget Inn. 
• Domestic violence was reported at 1:05 p.m. in the 1200 block of Continental Drive.
• An auto accident was reported at 2:18 p.m. in the 1900 block of Wentzville Parkway
• An auto accident was reported at 4 p.m. on Hwy. Z at I-70 east.
• Stealing was reported at Walmart at 4:14 p.m. Over $500 in cash was missing from register drawers.
• Suspicious circumstances were reported at 5:01 p.m. in the 1900 block of Wentzville Parkway. A subject on a motorcycle flourished a weapon at a driver.
• A drug overdose was reported at 5:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Langtree Drive.

September 18

• An auto accident was reported at 7:40 a.m. on I-70 east at mile marker 211.
• A suicide attempt was reported in the 300 block of Cheryl Ann Drive at 12:23 p.m.
• An auto accident was reported at 2:21 p.m. in the 1300 block of Granville Drive.
• Stealing was reported at Rural King at 4:30 p.m. Zachary Aiello, 19, was arrested for stealing a chainsaw.
