Wentzville Woman in I-70 Accident

Lost control on icy roadway.

A woman was injured Monday, Jan. 31, in a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 70, west of Highway 79.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 9:38 a.m.

A 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by Jasmine L. Brown, 21, Wentzville, and a 2020 Kenworth driven by Anthony T. Sabbler, 30, Florissant, were traveling westbound on I-70.

According to the report, Brown lost control of her car on the icy roadway, striking the concrete median. Her care came back across the westbound lanes crossing into the path of Sabbler's vehicle. Sabbler's vehicle then struck Brown's Pontiac.

Brown sustained minor injuries. She was taken to St. Joseph West Hospital in Lake Saint Louis by St. Charles County Ambulance.

She was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
