What's the Best Selling Vehicle at Poage Chevy?
No, it's not a Corvette or a Camaro. And the answer probably won't surprise you.
Poage Chevrolet took over operations at the old Cox & Cohea Chevy dealership in December of 2012, but the family isn't new to the business. The Poage family also owns and operates dealerships in Hannibal, Quincy, IL and Decatur, IL.
"We're still family-owned and family-run," said Jason Poage, the owner of Wentzville's Poage Chevy.
Poage said that the company's motto is "Service before, during and after the sale."

"I can sell anybody a car the first time," he said. "But our service department will sell the second car for us."
Poage has been running the dealership for just three months, but some trends have already surfaced. Poage was quick with a response when Patch asked, "What's the best selling vehicle here?"

"V-8 Chevy pickups," Poage said. "Back in the day, it was a truck store. We have noticed the truck business is still there.
"It's a rural area. You need it for the weekend, then you drive it to work. It's a lot of multiple-use situations, from hauling to construction to work," Pogue said. "Some people have come in from the city, but you find the people that grew up here are still rural."
