Description:With the current pressing issues in our world, Covid-19, and the ongoing presence of systemic racism, companies have a responsibility more than ever to speak out and show their intentions to change the climate and express what is important to their business. Diversifying the work culture by hiring and retaining people with disabilities of all races and cultures is just one way to demonstrate this intention. To do this successfully, creating or tapping into Employee Resource Groups can allow businesses to leverage the voice of those diverse individuals often underrepresented and produce models and best practices that work. This interactive presentation will explore how employers are leveraging ERGsto drive more meaningful conversations, employment practices, and the changes needed to affect disability inclusion and intersectionality outcomes within business.
