2 Seriously Hurt In Amherst Route 101 Crash
Amherst firefighters said two people were seriously injured in a crash on Route 101 near Horace Greeley Road.

AMHERST, NH — Two people were seriously injured in an Amherst crash on Route 101 Wednesday night, according to fire officials. The head-on crash crash happened just before midnight near Horace Greeley Road. One of the drivers was critically injured and medflighted to a local hospital. Fire officials said the driver was trapped in the vehicle, requiring firefighters to use cutting equipment.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported via ambulance to a local hospital. The identities of the individuals were not released.
