The economic downturn seems to finally be reversing course in Amherst, according to Community Development Director Sarah Marchant. Her office has released its first newsletter to keep Amherst residents up-to-date on planning and zoning news in their town. It contains a very thorough year in review, which includes many pieces of good news. Marchant writes that business development has increased over the past year, and residential development has been following the same trend.
