5 Great Things To Do in NH This Weekend
Looking for fun? You have come to the right place.

1. Local tunes! The Granite State Music Festival is a two day, non camping, non-profit festival held in Concord, New Hampshire June 23-24. All proceeds from the festival go to benefit the Concord Community Music School, the largest employer of musicians in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Band roster includes Chris Robinson Brotherhood, New Hampshire headliners Groovechild, NH legends Truffle and the Ron Noyes Band.
2. Garden tour! Tour seven of the area's most beautiful outdoor spaces at the 2012 Nashua Garden Tour on Saturday, June 23 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The gardens have been trimmed to perfection at the peak of garden season. The Garden Tour is a great way to spend a summer afternoon with friends while you pick up tips and inspiration for your yard.
3. Get fresh, local goods! The Nashua Farmers Market is open for the season! Go and visit them on Sunday, June 24 from10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year market visitors will have a wide variety of products to choose from – fresh local fruit and vegetables, meat, eggs, plants, pastries, artisan breads, honey, maple syrup, candy, ice cream, soap and crafts. Each week, there will be performances by two musical acts, including the popular blue grass band, The New Englanders. Special events will be peppered throughout the summer and fall months, including fruit festivals, live art events and produce drives to benefit the Nashua Soup Kitchen. 4. Stretch out, get out! Come join Amala Wellness in Goffstown for an 8 a.m. Yoga class before a hike on Pac Manadnock. Enjoy an outdoor Meditation and bring along a brown bag lunch for a picnic at the top (for those who can't walk up, there is a road so that you may participate in yoga and meditation as well as our picnic). Then we head back to the Goffstown Studio for Restorative Yoga! The entire Day Retreat fee is $30.00
5. Meat and alcohol! WineNot Boutique knows that warm weather means grilling, and though many of us grill year round, there’s no doubt most of us spend a lot more time outside in the summer months. What better way to enjoy the season than firing up the grill and bestowing our favorite foods with rich, smoky flavors. Naturally, wines amplify the experience, and since most foods can be grilled (yes, even some greens!) the range of wines to be considered is as broad as the choice of foods itself. Wine Consultant, Russell Broz, will lead you through a fun tasting of six wines covering the gamut at their event on Friday, Jun. 22 from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
