2. Family day in Milford! Light of the World Milford is hosting its 8th Annual Family Day at Keyes Field from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. All day fun includes: slippery slide, volleyball & frisbee, drama, dunk tank, bounce house, Zumba, face painting and free food. Also enjoy the 7th Annual MSBL 3 on 3 basketball tournament 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Enjoy live music 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

3. Monarchs fans unite! Join the Monarchs and Max for Summer Fan Fest and the second annual Monarchs Street Hockey Tournament on Saturday, July 28 at the Verizon Wireless Arena from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The day will include: Second annual Street Hockey Tournament, Meet & Greet with former Monarchs players, Monarchs Pro Shop Blowout Sale, Inflatable bounce house, obstacle course, Dunk Tank, Photo opportunities with Max and some of his mascot friends, Kids Club kick-off and slap shot game, Select your seats for the 2012-13 season and much, much more!

4. On a roll....er derby. RollerConsolation is an annual event for skaters from across New England to come together to commiserate their lack of attendance at the sport's biggest convention - RollerCon. Skaters from many different leagues are mashed together (literally and figureatively) to make mixed teams with fun themes that compete against each other in 30-minute scrimmages. Mixed scrimmages will be followed by a 5:00pm home team bout between NHRD's Granite Skate Troopers and Nightmares on Elm Street in what will be the final home team match before the August 18th Kennedy Cup Championship. Spectators are welcome to attend the mixed scrimmages AS WELL AS the home team bout for the same $10 advance/$12 door price!

5. Jazz it up! Amherst Jazzercise Fitness Center is celebrating National Dance Day on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. Seven instructers will host team teaching fun filled with some fantastic dance songs. Move those feet, shake that thing and start the day off with a smile!
