5 Great Things To Do in NH This Weekend

1. Beer! New Hampshire Craft Beer Week will end on Saturday, but that means there is a giant beer celebration waiting for you this weekend! Breweries from across New England will gather on Saturday, June 30 to tap into their exceptional brews at the 8th annual New England Brewfest at the Lincoln Village Shops in Lincoln, NH. 2. Explore our past! The "Shaping Our Heritage" event at the NH State Library on will feature more than 100 examples of crafts and more than 100 photographs highlighting art forms such as blacksmithing, boat building, braided and hooked rug making, cooperage, decoy carving, dog sled making, fly tying, Contra dance and French Canadian fiddling, furniture making, Native American ash basket making and beadwork, Shaker oval box making, tinsmithing, and Scottish accordion and bagpipe playing.

3. Sassy! The Capitol Center for the Arts is hosting a Swing Night Friday night, featuring performance from Sweet, Hot & Sassy and Swing A Cat. They will perform on behalf of Children Helping Children, a grassroots, nonprofit organization that empowers school children to effect positive changes in the lives of other children on a local, national and international level.

Meals on wheels! Don’t miss out on your chance to taste some of the area’s gourmet cuisine on wheels at the New Hampshire Food Truck Festival at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH on Saturday, June 30th. 5. Local tunes! The Downtown Music Festival is a three-part music series in Downtown Nashua, NH. They will be shutting down Temple St in the heart of the downtown to bring you the music event of the summer! Country Fest North will take place on Saturday, June 30 with afternoon performances by local bands. Ticketed event begins at 5:00pm with Jandee Lee Porter, Rockspring and featuring the Tom Dixon Band.
