5 Things: Artsy Fundraiser Coming To Hampshire Hills
I got a Patch for our camping trip.

1. Weather Report: Today will be mostly sunny with a high of 39 degrees. Tonight is looking partly cloudy with an overnight low of 27 degrees. Expect a few snow showers to come through tomorrow.
2. Citizen group meets tonight. The Amerst Citizen Association will be meeting tonight at 7 p.m. in Souhegan High School (Room 128). The group will be discussing the absence of the town administrator, questions on the funding for a DPW truck, the town's financial adjustments and town hall repairs.

3. Road trip! Did you know: If you were to take a car trip to the sun, it would take about 176 years to get there if you drove 60 mph (96.5 kph) all day, every day.
4. Paint Party. Rosie's Roses is hosting an artistic fundraiser on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 6:30 p.m. in Hampshire Hills. The Canvas Roadshow will help raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis research, and you will go home with a beautiful Sunflower painting (no artistic skill needed!) The cost is $45 and all supplies and materials; wine and food from Tiebreakers is also available for purchase. Book your spot here.

5. Congrats! Chelsea R. Greenwald of Milford, a junior majoring in engineering & management at Clarkson University, received the MK Woods '82 Endowed Scholarship during the 2012-2013 academic year. Clarkson University is grateful to its many donors of endowed, sponsored, and Share Clarkson scholarships. Scholarship support is essential to providing students with the financial resources necessary to achieve their goal of a Clarkson education.
