4. More pennies at the pump. Gas prices have gone up 3.5 cents over the past week in New Hampshire, which is a bad way to start the new year I say. The average price is $3.38 a gallon in the state.

5. The cycle continues...reports are coming in that Apple is already testing its next iPhone and operating system. Get ready for fanboys to begin their endless speculation and drooling.
