5 Things: Papal Conclave Begins Tuesday

1. The Audacity of Pope. Cardinals will begin their secret election process to choose a new pope to replace Pope Benedict XVI. A total of 115 cardinal-electors will gather to choose their new leader.

2. Unemployment down. CNN Reports that unemployment has fallen to the lowest level since 2008. The U.S. economy added 236,000 jobs in February, according to the latest Labor Department report.

3. Couldn't burst their bubble. Amazon.com sold its first book in 1995 and was one of a few Web businesses to survive the dot-com crash of 2000.

4. Congrats! Jenna Gowell of Amherst has been named to the 2012 fall semester Dean's List at Lafayette College. To qualify for Dean's List, a student must achieve at least a 3.60 semester grade point average out of a possible 4.0. Jenna is a graduate of Souhegan High School.
