5 Things: Should We Limit Caffeine in Energy Drinks?

1. How will we get our wings? A group of doctors, researchers and experts are calling for the FDA to limit the amount of caffeine in energy drinks. They claim the buzzed beverages "pose serious potential health risks.” In 2011, about 20,783 were admitted to the hospital for energy drink-related problems.
2. The Net is EVERYWHERE. A report has shown that U.S. homes currently have half a billion home-based devices connected to the Internet. Smartphones and tablets are taking over folks.

3. What a life. An Annual is a plant that grows, blossoms, produces seed, and dies within one growing season. Plants called biennials require two growing seasons to complete their life cycles.
4. Congrats! Nicholas A. Murphy, a first-year student at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, was named to the Dean's List for his outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2012-13 year. Murphy is the son of Kevin and Deborah Murphy of Amherst, and attended Souhegan High School. Students whose grade point averages were 3.67 or higher were named to the Dean's List.
