5 Things to Do In NH This Labor Day Weekend
You have three days to get in on the New Hampshire good times. Don't waste them!

1. PARADE TIME! The Annual Milford Labor Day Parade will be rolling through Milford on monday beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Milford High School. The parade will continue around the Milford Oval and end at the Milford VFW. There will be live music, food and plenty more fun at the VFW, and more on the Milford Community House Lawn starting at 11:30 a.m.
2. The King! Labor Day weekend will be filled with activities to celebrate the life of the King and commemorate the 35th anniversary of his death at the fourth annual New England Elvis Festival, Aug. 31 through Sept. 2 at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester, N.H. Elvis fans will be going “Back to the Beginning” during Saturday night’s Las Vegas-style show of the same name, starring top tribute artists Cody Slaughter and Rick Huntress. The show features Slaughter, Graceland’s 2011 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist and Heart of the King Horizon Award for new Elvis Tribute Artist, in his only 2012 New England appearance and Huntress, 2011 New England Elvis Festival champion and New Hampshire native. The Elvis Tribute Contest, where more than 20 tribute artists will compete for more than $5,000 in cash prizes, will also be a highlight of the festival, with the winner representing the Festival at the 2013 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist World Championship. 3. Cruising! Head on over to Cruising Downtown Manchester on Saturday, Sept. 1 from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. to see the largest car show in Manchester. Downtown Elm Street will be lined with classics, hot rods and custom cars. Swing at a car to benefit New Horizons. Live entertainment with bands all day: the Bob Pratte Band, Permanent Vacation and Annie and the Orphans. Special appearance by "Elvis." Live radio. 1st 500 cars, dash plaques. Swag bags, tons of trophies. Proceeds benefit the Manchester Rotary and other local charities. Registration at the Brady Sullivan Building. Event will be held rain or shine.

4. Feel the rush! Nickelodeon stars and pop band, Big Time Rush surprised their fans with the announcement of their "Big Time Summer Tour" live on Ryan Seacrest, which features a stop at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH on Saturday, Sept. 1! One of pop music's up and coming stars, Cody Simpson will be joining the boys on stage. They will be performing their hits, including "Music Sounds Better with U," "If I Ruled the World," “All Over Again,” and “Elevate.”
5. Hang with horses. Saturday is Clydesdale Camera Day at the Anheuser-Busch brewery in Merrimack, where you can bring your camera and have your picture taken with a world-famous Budweiser Clydesdale! The famous giants will be available from 1-3 p.m. While visiting, enjoy a free tour of the brewery, and visit the Gift Shop.
