2. Snow adventure! The Peabody Mill Environmental Center will be open Saturday, Jan. 12 from 12-4 p.m. for snowshoe rentals. Snowshoes are available in a variety of sizes. If you can walk, you can snowshoe! Fee is $6 for Amherst residents and $8 for nonresidents.

5. Congrats! Sarah Regan, a junior from Amherst, has recently been named to the Honor Roll for the winter term at The Loomis Chaffee School. Located in historic Windsor, Connecticut, Loomis Chaffee is an internationally recognized college preparatory school for grades 9-12 that fosters critical thinking and a global perspective in talented students from around the state, the country and the world.
