2. Above and beyond. Last week's , and the store owners are continuing the show of good will. Not only did they donate $500 of their donations to SHARE, but they also sent off surplus food from the sale to the nonprofit.

3. Patch Fact: Did you know: A gremlin is a small imaginary creature that some people believe causes mechanical problems in airplanes. Gremlins may have been originated by British pilots during World War I (1914-1918).
4. A moral victory. The Nashua Telegraph reports that President Obama signed a veterans benefits bill that includes increased protection for military funerals from protestors. The new law, introduced by Congressman Charlie Bass, increases the buffer around a military service from 300 to 500 feet. Bad news for groups like the Westboro Baptist Church; good news for the rest of us.
