3. Patch Fact: Fire extinguishers use baking soda to kill flames. Baking soda starts to decompose at only 158 degrees Fahrenheit (70 degrees Celsius), and when it decomposes, it releases carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide, along with the insulation of the foam, works to smother the fire.
4. Gas prices up. WMUR reports that gas prices in the state jumped another 4 cents last week. The average price at the pump is $3.70, which is right about where the national average is right now.

5. Wall Street "Dislikes." The HuffPost reports that Facebook's stock dropped to half of its IPO price this week. Maybe it is because so many people hate that Timeline feature...
