1. Your weather report: Today is looking to be partly cloudy with a high of 90 degrees. Tonight should be clear with an overnight low of 67 degrees. Tomorrow should be a bit cooler with partly cloudy weather.

2. Road closure. Lyndeborough Road at Candlewood will be closed most of the week (day and night) to replace the two culvert pipes with a concrete structure.

3. Patch Fact: Did Charles Darwin become a Christian on his deathbed? Despite the popular story told by British evangelist "Lady Hope," Darwin's son refuted her account. It seems the naturalist stuck to his guns and remained agnostic until the bitter end.

4. Gas prices up. WMUR reports that the price to fill up your tank has risen 7 cents per gallon since last week. The average of $3.58 per gallon in NH is still lower than last year, and below the national average of $3.60.

Congrats! Douglas Lens '15, of Amherst was among over 750 students from Union College who made the annual Dean's List.Lens, a Neuroscience major, is a 2011 graduate of Souhegan High School.To be named to the Dean's List, Union students must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the academic year and meet certain other requirements.
