1. Your weather report: Today will bring isolated thunderstorms throughout the day. The storms will begin make their way through the area with a high of 95 degrees. The storms will continue tonight with an overnight low of 74 degrees. The thunderstorms remain tomorrow and they are predicted to be severe.

2. See the light. Jeremy D'Entremont, author, lighthouse historian, and founder of Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouses, will present at the Amhers Town Library tonight at 7 p.m. Learn the history of these lighthouses and the stories of those that built and worked in these useful structures!

5. Congrats! Daniel Shearholdt, a resident of Amherst, has been named to the Spring 2012 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Daniel is a Finance major. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.
