1. Your weather report: Today will be mostly sunny with a high of 84 degrees. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low of 57 degrees. Expect things to be a tad cooler tomorrow with some partly sunny weather.
2. Unemployment up. The Union Leader reports that our state's unemployment rate for June went up 0.1 percent over the previous month. New Hampshire's unemployment rate is still better than the national average, which is at 8.2 percent.

3. Patch Fact: Ever had your favorite shirt lose its color from too much time in the sun? It happens when ultraviolet light breaks down the chemical bonds in the dyes and causes a bleaching effect.
4. Great program for girls! Registration for Girls on the Run is now open for 3rd and 8th grade girls. Girls on the Run is a transformational learning program for 8 to 13-year-old girls that builds self-esteem through communication and running. Visit their website to register.

5. Congrats! Kathleen McCabe of Amherst has graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. McCabe earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Physical Therapy.McCabe was one of nearly 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students who received their diplomas May 20, 2012 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.
