1. Screen time. A new study suggests that one fourth of kid's lives will be spent watching some type of screen. This number is not counting time spent looking at screens at work.

2. Sad anniversary. On this day in 2003, 100 concert-goers were killed in a fire at The Station nightclub in West Warwick, R.I. after fireworks ignited during a show by the rock band Great White. It was the fourth deadliest fire in American history.
