Adoption Alert: Blue The Dog is Kind of a Goober
The Animal Rescue League of NH has some great pets that want to find a loving home.
Blue: I'm a three year old pittie mix who had to come to the shelter because my family couldn't afford to care for me any longer. I'm a goober of a dog who has lived with other dogs and kids of all ages. I LOVE to play and would do best in an active home - ideally, with a dog friend. I love my toys so much that sometimes I want to keep them all to myself so if I live with kids again, I need them to have LOTS of toys to exchange with me when I don't want to give one up. Won’t YOU take a chance on Blue?
Junior: I’m Junior, and something called allergies ripped me from the (indoor) home I’ve known and adored for the past 7 years. I’m 12 years old and came from a coworker’s home, where I lived for 5 years. See, I’m no trouble. In fact, my mama said I am “very loving, loves to be pet, will sleep with you at night, and tolerated my toddler very well.” I am easy going, cuddly, gentle, affectionate, good natured, and like to sit on laps. I don’t mind being picked up, I like toys and catnip, and even enjoy brushing. I’m pretty flexible for the type of home I like – I am used to a busy home but wouldn’t mind a quiet home either – just make sure it is an indoor home, preferably without a dog (they scare me and I run away). I’ve lived with another cat, and we got along after a while. I would really, really like to be in a loving home again, where I will return to the glorious, friendly guy that I am. The shelter life is not for me, so please, please come visit and take me home.
