Adoption Alert: Harry Is A Handsome Dog

Harry: I’m Harry! As you can see from my picture, I'm quite a ham. I'm a gorgeous seven year old, shar-pei/lab mix. I lived in an awesome home with kids, cats and dogs and LOVED all of them. Dress me up in a shirt and tie anyday! Unfortunately, I loved them so much, I never wanted to see them leave so I became more and more anxious as the years went on when they left for work and school. The good news is the nice staff here at the shelter think that with a regular exercise program and some simple behavior strategies, I could be much less anxious in my next home. They'd be happy to give you all the tricks of the behavior modification trade if you're interested in me. Because I love people so much, I would do best with a family that isn't gone all day at work and would benefit from having another friend of the canine type in the house with me to keep me calm. Did I mention I'm housetrained and know all kinds of commands? Oh, and I walk beautifully on a leash and would be a great running companion.

Omar: Hi I’m Omar. I am an approximately 5-year-old all-black cat with a bob tail. I came to the ARLNH as a stray.  I’ve been at the ARL for a while, working on getting healthy and getting my weight up. I just moved up to the adoption floor and am ready to go to my forever home!  Is it with you?
