Adoption Alert: You'll Go 'Bonkers' For This Cat
The Animal Rescue League of NH has some great pets that want to find a loving home.
Joppa: Hi I'm Joppa! I am an active neutered male looking for my forever home. I've completed over two months of obedience work here at the shelter and my teacher says that I'm the valedictorian! I know sit, down and stay. I'm lucky to be part of the shelter's Run to Save One program where I get to head out to the trails each week to go for a run. They say the volunteers fight over who gets to run with me because I'm such an awesome training partner. I LOVE to run and can easily handle 10 miles and probably more. I'd be a great training partner for those long distance runners. September is not too late to catch up on those New Year's resolutions - come meet me and I can get your exercise program jump started!
Bonkers: Bonk! That's my head crashing up against the cage door as I headbutt in an effort to see you, or get you to see me. My name really is Bonkers, a name my mommy gave me about 6 years ago when I was a kitten. Oh, we had a nice life together, but then some hard times hit, and mommy wants to be sure I am taken care of in a nice home, so brought me here to find one. I am affectionate, easy going, playful, and oh so cuddly. That's what mom said she likes best about me - that I'm cuddly and playful. I've lived with dogs and would rather not do that again (they scare me) and strange cats aren't usually my cup of tea, either (though I don't seem to mind my neighbor here and have been playful toward cats I've lived with). I am loveable with children over 8, though don't pay much attention to little ones. And I want to remain an indoor kitty where I can play with toys and catnip and use my scratching post and carry on a conversation (yes, I like to talk). Well, it's hard to be cuddly and play while I'm in this cage, so can I ask you to come rescue me soon?
