AG Warns of Political Fund-raising Scam
NH authorities field complaints of callers claiming to represent legitimate campaigns.

Attorney General Michael Delaney reports a different kind of phone scam: people soliciting donations by falsely claiming they represent legitimate political campaigns.
Delaney, in a press release this morning, urged residents to verify the source before making a contribution. He further recommended that people who want to contribute to a campaign do so through the campaign's official website or by calling the campaign.
The New Hampshire Attorney General's office has an election hotline for questions or complaints: 1-866-868-3703.
