Amherst Man Charged With Simple Assault

[Monday, Feb. 18]

At 6:59 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident in the parking lot of Meadow Brook crossing.  No injuries were reported. Gail Derboghosian, 49, of Townsend, MA had hit a parked vehicle.

[Tuesday, Feb. 19]

At 7:58 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Amherst Street at Boston Post Road.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Sarah Kulbashian, 23, of Milford and Caroline Smith, 35, of Amherst.

At 6:31 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Boston Post Road at Carriage Road.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were John Knapp, 40, of Mont Vernon and Scott Theg, 55, of New Boston.

[Wednesday, Feb. 20]

At 7:53 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident in the parking lot of Carriage Depot. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Charles Berry, 22, of Nashua and Cathy Burgoyne, 48, of Temple.

At 9:51 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A at Route 122.  No injuries were reported. The drivers were Maureen Moloney, 53, of Londonderry and Diane Brown, 57, of Milford.

At 1:47 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Justin Spencer, 25, of 48 Temple Street #4, Nashua on a charge of willful concealment/shoplifting. Spencer was released on a summons to appear in the Milford District Court on March 7, 2013.

At 4:15 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Elissa V. Finks, 29, of 32 Perry Road, Bedford on charges of driving after suspension and driving after suspension of registration of vehicle. Finks was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for March 7, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

[Thursday, Feb. 21]

At 4:25 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Christian Hill Road. No injuries were reported. The drivers was Amanda Cloutier, 30, of Manchester.

[Friday, Feb. 22]

At 2:57 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Lucinda Gray, 51, of Nashua and Leo Ballou, 85, of New Castle.

[Saturday, Feb. 23]

At 8 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested John Robert E. Wood, 27, of 6 Milford Street, Amherst on a charge of simple assault. Wood was released on $1,200 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for March 7, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

[Sunday, Feb. 24]

At 2:12 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Austin Road.  No injuries were reported. The driver was Conor Sands, 30, of Amherst.
