Amherst Man Charged with Theft From Kohl's

Arrest follows alleged theft of shirts from Kohl's.

An Amherst man was arrested and charged with theft after allegedly swiping two shirts from Kohl's on Aug. 2, according to Nashua police.

Police identifed the man as Cory Michaud, 29, of 464 Boston Post Road, #49, Amherst.

After the shirts were taken, officers located the man in the parking lot and found the shirts. Nashua police, after learning Michaud has two prior theft-related convictions, upgraded the charge to a Class B felony, which carries stiffer jail time – up to seven years, if one is convicted.
