Police Arrest 2 on Drug Charges

The Amherst Police Department's recent activity and arrest logs. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

• On April 13, at 2:30 a.m., Amherst police officers arrested Ryan James Murphy, 31, of Londonderry, on a charge of possession of a controlled drug. Murphy was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and has an arraignment date of May 8 in the 9th Circuit Court, Milford.

• On April 15, at 7:58 a.m., officers responded to a four-car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported and no charges were filed. The drivers were: Pamela Bidwell, 69, of Mont Vernon, Angela Theriault, 45, of Nashua, Christopher Frost, 39, of Wilton, and Elizabeth Jowders, 59, of Milford.

• On April 17, at 3:45 p.m., police arrested Scott Brian McCallum, 21, of Nashua, on charges of transportation of a controlled drug and possession of a controlled drug. McCallum was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, and has an arraignment date of May 8 at the 9th Circuit Court, Milford.

• On April 17, at 6:36 p.m., police arrested Jennifer Dail Duhaime, 24, of Milford, on a charge of theft. Duhaime was released on $400 personal recognizance bail and has an arraignment date of May 8 at the 9th Circuit Court, Milford.
