Amherst Police Arrest Woman For Aggravated DWI, Resisting Arrest

The following information was supplied by the Amherst Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

[Friday, March 1]

At 2:10 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Merrimack Road.  No injuries were reported. The driver was Anthony Demarco, age 24, of Amherst.

At 9:15 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Darlene Farnsworth, 56, of 612 Bell Street #A, Manchester on a charge of driving after suspension. Farnsworth was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for March 14, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

[Saturday, March 2]

At 3:21 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Grant Thomas Miller, 31, of 43 Standish Way #A, Amherst on charges of criminal mischief and criminal threatening. Miller was held in lieu of $2500 cash bail, with an arraignment date set for March 4, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

[Sunday, March 3]

At 12:30 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident in the parking lot of Joey’s Diner.  No injuries were reported. The driver was Jacques Lavoie, 66, of Greenfield, who had hit a parked vehicle.

At 1:20 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Nidia Batista, 34, of 11 Kilrea Road, Derry on charges of aggravated DWI and resisting arrest. Batista was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for March 14, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

[Monday, March 4]

At 8:58 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on the Route 101 eastbound off ramp to Route 101A.  No injuries were reported. the drivers were Daniel Perez, age 49, of Wilton and Peter Mazzone, age 58, of Peterborough.

At 1:03 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Kenneth Eichelberger, 42, of 43 Picard Road, Peterborough on charges of driving after suspension and driving after suspension of registration of vehicle. Eichelberger was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for March 14, 2013 at the Milford District Court.
