Amherst Police Log: Juveniles Detained On Theft Charges

The latest Amherst police log also included three car vs. deer crashes.

AMHERST, NH — Amherst police over the last week arrested a Wilton man and responded to three crashes involving vehicles hitting deer. These incidents and more were included in the latest Amherst police log issued Wednesday. Individuals accused of crimes are presumed innocent.

Dec. 10

  • 9:25 p.m. Shawn Lauginiger, 35, of Wilton, was arrested and charged with driving after suspension. He was released on bond pending an arraignment Dec. 27 in Milford District Court.

  • 6:05 p.m. Car vs. deer crash on Mack Hill Road. No one was hurt.
  • 8:20 p.m. Two juveniles were detained on theft charges. Police said further court action is likely.
