Amherst Police Make Drug Arrest

[Monday, Dec. 31]

At 7:47 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Daniel Dorgan Martinage, 18, of 10 Forest Road, Hudson on charges of possession of a controlled drug and transportation of a controlled drug. Martinage was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for January 10, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

[Tuesday, Jan. 1]

At 1 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Tucker Tufts McCarthy, 24, of 35 Prospect Street, Lebanon on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Merrimack District Court. McCarthy was released on $500 personal recognizance bail with a court date set for January 8, 2013 at the Merrimack District Court.

[Wednesday, Jan. 2]

At 2:50 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested John Robert Wood, 26, of 6 Milford Street, Amherst on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Milford District Court. Wood was released on $199 cash bail, and no further action is anticipated by the Amherst Police Department.

At 4 p.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Rylan Bassett James, 21, of 832 Forest Road, Greenfield on a charge of driving after suspension.  James was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for January 17, 2013 at the Milford District Court.
