Amherst Police Make Shoplifting Arrest

The Amherst Police Department made the following recent arrests. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

• Police on March 27 arrested Nathan Joseph Curran, 26, of 90 Amherst St. #5, Milford, and charged him with theft by deception and theft by unauthorized taking. he was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and has a court date of May 8 at the 9th Circuit Court in Milford.

• Police on March 27 arrested Kalyani Agasthi, 40, of 9 Sunblase Drive, Nashua, on a charge of willful concealment. Agasthi was released on $400 personal recognizance bail and has an arraignment date of May 8 at the 9th Circuit Court in Milford.
