HB296 AN ACT relative to assignment of circuit court judges as liaison judges. This bill requires the administrative judge for the circuit court to designate a judge for each circuit court location to serve as a liaison to the communities served by that location.

HB327 AN ACT relative to payment of attorneys’ fees for indigent parents in termination of parental rights cases. This bill requires the judicial council to pay attorneys’ fees for indigent parents in termination of parental rights cases. This bill was requested by the supreme court.

HB652 AN ACT relative to the judicial branch information technology fund. This bill increases court filing fees and increases the percentage of such fees to be deposited in the judicial branch information technology fund. This bill was requested by the supreme court.

SB96 AN ACT relative to vexatious litigants. This bill establishes certain requirements for persons who are determined by the court to be vexatious litigants.

HB167 AN ACT relative to notice and information provided to the victim of a person seeking parole or the victim’s next of kin. The bill requires the department of corrections to provide certain information to the victim of the person seeking parole.

HB275 AN ACT requiring the liquor commission to establish a pilot program for the sale of New Hampshire microbrewery and nano brewery beers at certain state liquor stores. This bill requires the liquor commission to establish a pilot program for the sale in certain state liquor stores of microbrewery and nano brewery beers that are brewed in New Hampshire.

HB653 AN ACT relative to funding law enforcement prosecution of Internet crimes against children. This bill establishes the Internet crimes against children fund and requires courts to impose an additional fee of $10 for every conviction for an offense against a child. The fund shall be administered by the attorney general and distributed to the Internet crimes against children taskforce.

HB661 AN ACT allocating a portion of proceeds from forfeiture of items used in connection with a drug offense to the cold case homicide unit. This bill requires a portion of proceeds from the forfeiture of items used in connection with a drug offense to be allocated to the cold case homicide unit fund. The bill also provides that the amount of such proceeds transferred into the cold case homicide unit fund shall not exceed $200,000.

SB111 AN ACT permitting municipalities to establish a capital reserve plan for expenditure of capital reserve funds. This bill permits municipalities to adopt a capital reserve plan by a supermajority vote. 

SB188 AN ACT relative to municipally-owned utilities. This bill defines “municipally-owned utility” for purposes of relocating underground utilities facilities as necessitated by certain highway projects.

HB123 AN ACT relative to the limitation of liability for negligence regarding public safety officers. This bill extends the limitation of liability for negligence to claims for injury caused by the negligent conduct of the person or persons requiring the services of a public safety officer, which were incurred during the performance of the officer’s official duties.

HB144 AN ACT prohibiting the state, counties, towns, and cities from implementing programs of, expending money for, receiving funding from, or contracting with the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives. This bill prohibits the state and political subdivisions from implementing programs of, funding, receiving funding from, or contracting with, the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI).

HB189 AN ACT repealing the commission to study water infrastructure sustainability funding. This bill repeals the commission to study water infrastructure sustainability funding. 

HB498 AN ACT permitting the use of firearms by military or veterans groups in the compact part of a town for military or veterans events, or national holidays. This bill creates an exception to the unauthorized use of firearms and firecrackers law for the firing or discharge of a cannon, gun, pistol, or other firearm within the compact part of a town or city for military or veterans events, or national holidays.

HB527 AN ACT repealing the exotic aquatic weeds and species committee. This bill repeals the exotic aquatic weeds and species committee.

HB654 AN ACT relative to licensure and renewal fees. This bill establishes licensure and renewal fees by statute rather than by administrative rule for acupuncturists, alcohol and drug counselors, boxing and wrestling promoters and participants, dietitians, electrologists, funeral directors and embalmers, hearing care providers, massage therapists, midwives, naturopaths, nursing home administrators, optometrists, podiatrists, reflexologists, and individuals registered as home health care providers.

HB669 AN ACT relative to nonpayment of property taxes on current use land. This bill provides that the nonpayment of property taxes on land assessed under current use within 120 days of the due date shall result in the property considered to be changed in use and assessed the land use change tax.
