Amherst Republican Committee Chair Backs Horn
Mark Vincent has thrown his support behind the NHGOP chair nominee.

A Republican leader in Amherst is backing Jennifer Horn for chair of the New Hampshire Republican State Committee.
Mark Vincent, chairman of the Amherst Republican Committee, recently announced his support for Horn as a "clear choice to unite New Hampshire Republicans."
"As the voice of our State Party I know Jennifer will bring these voters back “home again” to the Party that wants to preserve an opportunity society, create a strong and growing economy with thriving businesses and low unemployment, and have a cost effective government that works FOR the people, not the other way around," said Vincent in his endorsement.

Amherst political activist Lisa Hansen is joining the chair in endorsing Horn for the position.
"I believe that she is best prepared to articulate the message necessary to win back the seats we’ve lost, fight back against the liberal media bias, and hold the democrats accountable for what they do (or fail to do). On several occasions these past few years, she has been the lone voice I’ve heard publicly push back against the liberal lies and defend our Republican candidates and elected officials."

Horn is up against Andrew Hemingway, former state director for Newt Gingrich, and former presidential candidate Andy Martin. She lost as the 2008 GOP nominee in the 2nd Congressional District, and against Charlie Bass in the 2010 primary.
Here is Mark Vincent's full endorsement:
There has been a lot of discussion since November 6th amongst Republicans and conservative independent voters as we all try to assess the reason for the election results and determine our path forward. I have been encouraged by the determination and resolve of my fellow activists to redouble our efforts to unite and strengthen our Party, reorganize where needed, and move quickly to build an effective operation for 2014 and beyond. A major step in that process will take place on January 26th when we elect new leadership for the NHGOP and your vote for State Chairman is critically important. I want to recommend that you cast that vote for Jennifer Horn. I strongly believe that she is the clear choice to unite New Hampshire Republicans and create the State Party infrastructure we need for successful campaigns in every election cycle.
I have known Jennifer for many years as a grassroots activist, a columnist, a Congressional candidate, and now as the best candidate to Chair the NHGOP.
Jennifer is the conservative leader we need to both manage our State Party operations and also effectively deliver the Republican message. This message must be delivered clearly and consistently through all types of media as well as in person and I have seen Jennifer do just that day in and day out. I always like to have Jennifer as a guest speaker at my Amherst Republican Committee meetings because she never fails to inspire our members to become even more active in promoting Republican principles and values. I also greatly enjoy her appearances on radio and television when she takes the fight directly to liberal activists and consistently wins the debate. Most importantly she knows how to build the relationships we need to be successful. We need to reconnect with our activists and unite us under the banner of our common cause – to limit government, to keep taxes as low as possible and to preserve our individual liberty. We also need to reconnect with our voters, many of whom have drifted away from us in recent years. These voters used to be reliably Republican but now do not feel that we truly represent their values. As the voice of our State Party I know Jennifer will bring these voters back “home again” to the Party that wants to preserve an opportunity society, create a strong and growing economy with thriving businesses and low unemployment, and have a cost effective government that works FOR the people, not the other way around.
Jennifer has published a detailed plan that covers the complete spectrum of priorities for our State Party operation – from messaging to fundraising to organization and recruitment. We cannot afford to only concentrate on some aspects of a successful political party. We need a comprehensive plan to incorporate all of the components needed for victory. We need to create and strengthen relationships with our campaign volunteers, our local Republican organizations, our donors, our allies in the small business community, our grassroots activist groups, our local media outlets, and most importantly – with the citizens of New Hampshire who are best served by a Republican-run government.
I know Jennifer will provide the leadership we need to once again have New Hampshire lead the way as the oasis of common sense conservative sanity in an otherwise big government progressive New England. Read her plan and I am confident you will agree. Please vote for Jennifer Horn for State Party Chairman at the annual meeting on January 26th. I’ll see you there.
