Amherst Roads Cleared, But Many Remain Powerless
PSNH continues to work on restoring power to homes, but some may be in the dark into the weekend.

The effort to recover after Hurrican Sandy continues in New Hampshire, but many will not have power before the end of the week.
A total of 2,315 in Amherst are still without power this morning, which is 43.4 percent of PSNH customers. There were still around 74,588 outages across New Hampshire this morning, according to WMUR.
There were more than 210,000 without power in the state at the peak of the outages, which is the fourth-highest amount in the state's history. PSNH estimates that restoration and recovery could cost more than $10 million.
