Amherst Woman Arrested For Drunk Driving

Editor’s note: One person’s name was dismissed from this report because his or her charges were nolle prossed.

[Saturday, Dec. 29]

At 4 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Trevor Austin Finney, 18, of 7 Gail Avenue, Tyngsborough, MA on a charge of possession of a controlled drug. Finney was released on $500 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for January 10, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

At 4 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Timothy Patrick Martin, 18, of 19 Clover Hill Circle, Tyngsborough, MA on charges of transportation of a controlled drug and possession of a false ID. Martin was released on $600 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for January 10, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

At 11:22 a.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Boston Post Road. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Francis Pochopin, 25, of Manchester and Gretchen Lynn Robinson, 38, of Amherst.

At 1:25 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101. No injuries were reported. The drivers were Kenneth Eaton, 52, of Amherst and Meleah Ross, 35, of Merrimack.

At 6:08 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Holly Hill Drive. No injuries were reported. The driver was Benjamin Elmore, 23, of Chelmsford, MA.At 8:53 p.m., the Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Chestnut Hill Road. No injuries were reported. The driver was Fiore Costello, 82, of New Boston.

[Sunday, Dec. 30]

At 10 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Nicholas Joseph Sirois, 23, of 204 Route 13 #A, Brookline on a charge of driving after suspension. Sirois was released on a summons to appear at the Milford District Court on January 10, 2013.

[Monday, Dec. 31]

At 4:45 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Louis Sverkos, 45, of 265 Edward J. Roy Drive #102, Manchester on a charge of receiving stolen property. Sverkos was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for January 10, 2013 at the Milford District Court.

At 4:45 a.m., the Amherst Police Department arrested Robert Richard Moreau, 39, of 319 Sewall Street, Manchester on a charge of willful concealment/shoplifting. Moreau was released on $800 personal recognizance bail, with an arraignment date set for January 10, 2013 at the Milford District Court.
