Amherst Middle School students will soon be hitting the field, but first they need to show their skills.
Tryouts for fall sports begins on Monday, Aug. 27, which just so happens to also be . Students must have signed permission form and health from or doctor's note of good health in order to tryout.
Field hockey tryouts begin at 9 a.m. on Monday. The team is led by coach Amanda Rogers and is open to grades 7 & 8. Check out the 2012 Fall Field Hockey Schedule.

Girls soccer tryouts also begin at 9 a.m. on Monday and is open to grades 7 & 8. Coach Lindsay Toomey will be running the soccer program this year, and you can see the full schedule here.

Finally, boys soccer tryouts will take place at 4:30 p.m. for grades 7 & 8. Coach Kim Roberge will be leading the way through the fall season schedule for 2012.
