Ash Wednesday: What Are You Giving Up For Lent?
Will it be something simple like chocolate, or just getting off of Facebook for a while?
Ash Wenesday is here for those of the Christian faith, and many of them will be giving up something in the days leading to Easter.
Today kicks off the 40-day period in which Catholics and other Christians practice denial and penitence in honor of the story of Christ's 40 days in the desert. Lent ends the day before Easter.
Many choose to give up something during Lent, including junk food, social media and other comforts.
