Benefit Dance Night To Move Hearts That Need It Most

The Souhegan High School dance performance will raise money for Motivating Miles.

Local dance schools and choreographers will be participating in a benefit performance that will help motivate those facing the worst.

Souhegan High School will host an evening of dance on Saturday, Feb. 2 beginning at 7 p.m. inspired by the Motivating Miles Foundation. The Amherst nonprofit that “assists individuals and families facing a terminal illness to achieve acceptance, inner solace, and ensured legacy.

“The foundation helps families create a special memory, personalized for the family that will ensure that they leave a lasting impression on the world,” said volunteer Tiffany Jacobs.

The fulfillment of lifelong desires and other various journeys will be the inspiration for the original and poignant dance pieces from each dance group.

Dance schools participating include: Bedford Dance Center, The Dance Company, Vouli Dance, New Hampshire School of Ballet, Joy of Dance, and Dimensions in Dance.

All proceeds will benefit the foundation’s future recipients. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at each dance school or by calling Tiffany at (603)554-6983.
