All about the Benjamins. Ben Franklin gets a makeover, sort of, with the newly minted $100 bills, which went into circulation as of Oct. 8. The bill represents the most technologically advanced U.S. currency ever produced, according to newmoney.gov. There are two new security features - a blue security ribbon on the front of the note is 3-D and contains images of the Liberty Bell or the number "100," each in vertical rows. When the bill is moved back and forth or side to side, a row of 100s moves to the ribbon's center position, replacing a row of bells. Also, the front of the bill has a color-shifting inkwell that changes from copper to green.

Weather watch. Another sunny and warm autumn day on tap today. The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high near 64. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 41.
